2018 oli selle veini esimene aastakäik ja seda veini ei tehta igal aastal (hetkel ongi 2018 ainuke aastakäik). 20% viinamarjadest on väga vanadelt veinipuudelt (100+ aastat) ning 80% puhul on keskmine vanus 30-40 aastat. Vein laagerdus neutraalsetes tammevaatides 24 kuud ja pudelis enne müügile tulekut veel 24 kuud.

Väga siidine ja elegantne vein. Aroomis ja maitses on punaseid marju, Earl Grey teed, kerget vürtsikust, tubakat ja trühvleid. Suurepärane kaaslane pardifilee ja steigi kõrvale. Kokku tehti 4,000 pudelit.

“The new organic red 2018 Quinta de Nápoles is the first vintage of this wine, which will not be produced every year. It was produced with grapes from young and older vineyards on their property, matured in well-seasoned, neutral oak vats and barrels for two years and then was kept in bottle for another two years before it was released. It has a savory character (even the nose!) with notes of tobacco leaves, oolong tea, forest floor and truffles. It has the combination of the Redoma rusticity and the Charme elegance, polished by the time in bottle. The tannins are mostly resolved, and the palate feels quite silky. It’s 12.6% alcohol with a pH of 3.61. 4,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2020. Drink 2023-2034.” Wine Advocate 95 points
