Kirjeldus

Chateau Beaucastel’i veinimõisa koosseisu kuulub 7 hektarit valgete viinamarjasortidega viinapuuaedu. Viinapuuaedade pinnase moodustavad ladestunud settekivimid ja suured ümarad kivid iidsel merepõhjal. Vein valmistatakse 80% Roussanne, 15% Grenache Blanc ja 5% ulatuses Picardan, Clairette ja Bourboulenc viinamarjadest. Viinamarjad koristatakse ja sorteeritakse käsitsi ja asetatakse väikestesse kastidesse. Viinamarjad purustatakse pneumaatilise pressiga, seejärel lastakse veinil settida, et eralduksid veinis olevad tahked osakased. Käärimisprotsess leiab aset 70% ulatuses roostevaba terasest mahutites ja 30% ulatuses väikestes tammevaatides, pärast käärimise lõppemist küpseb vein 8 kuud 70% ulatuses roostevaba terasest mahutites ja 30% ulatuses väikestes tammevaatides, seejärel vein villitakse pudelitesse.

Värvuselt kahvatu kuldkollane, aroom meenutab akaatsiaõit, mett ja tsitrusvilju. Maitsetekstuur on väga pehme ja küps, eristuvad röstitud sai ja mesi. Serveerida 10 – 12 kraadi juures kvaliteetsest kalast roogadega, linnulihaga ja mereandidega.
