Kirjeldus

Nodi on Nino Franco uus single-vineyard Prosecco, viinamarjad on kasvanud väikeses Col del Vent viinamarjaaias Valdobbiadene’s.

Parim serveerimistemperatuur 6 – 8 kraadi.

“When Nino Franco discovered the Col del Vent vineyard in 2014, he said it was like taking a step back in time. He found the tiny plot above Valdobbiadene hosted, in excellent health, 100-year-old vines of biotypes of Glera that have long since been replaced in the region by modern clonal selections. The following year, with the help of master pruner Marco Simonit (consultant among others to Yquem, Latour and Roederer), he produced the first wine from the vineyard. He named it Nodi, or ‘knots’, referring to the gnarled trunks of the ancient vines. The 2019 has aromas of herbs, spring flowers and white fruit, a distinct mineral nuance and a crisply incisive palate of extraordinary length and crystalline purity. A wine of great finesse.” Decanter 96 points (2019 vintage)

“Aromas of fragrant spring flowers and orchard fruits lead the nose. On the compelling palate, rather fresh acidity and an elegant perlage accompany ripe pear, peach and a hint of lemon drop candy.” Wine Enthusiast 93 points (2019 vintage)

“Brilliantly luminescent lemon yellow. Initially slightly restrained on the nose, then develops with some ripe pineapple, mango and apricot, plus some acacia honey. Fills the palate, taut, but remains elegant, has polish, compact fruit core, concentrated all the way to the long finish.” Falstaff 93 points (2019 vintage)

“Brilliant silver grey colour. On the elegant nose there is peach, apricot, a hint of rosehip and a lightly honied note. The palate has a delicate texture, with yellow fruit, broad structure and a long, compact finish.” Falstaff 94 points (2018 vintage)
