“Michel Couvreur Candid is a single malt aged 8 to 9 years from the assembly of sherry casks having contained Pedro Ximenez and Amantillado. Lively and floral fragrance, although very fresh, it is supported by aromas of toasted almonds, revealing a lot of roundness.”
“Mince pie, petrichor, heavy fruit cake and a hearty helping of nutmeg. Very well-balanced. Sherry notes are up front and sweet (almost creamy), but the robust peat earthiness keeps it all in check.
